Valencia is managing the first and largest angel network in Indonesia called ANGIN. The group was started as a small women fund (by women to women) and now have grown to a network of 70 angel individuals and 30+ investments.
Valencia is interested in the subject of women empowerment and social entrepreneurship. She supported several consulting works for local agro social enterprises (SE) and development agencies (i.e. blended finance concept for SE, alternative financing schemes for women SMEs).
Fulfilling her other passion, Valencia co-wrote a study on social finance landscape in Indonesia (i.e. Social Finance: A New Frontier for Development in Indonesia) and is currently finalizing her ongoing study on the ecosystem of women entrepreneurship in Indonesia and Canada
