Dr Patrick Liew is the Chairman of GEX Ventures Group.
He has been the founder and CEO of two different companies and listed them on ASX and SGX. He was previously the regional CEO of a strategic advisory firm and was involved in listing the firm in the NYSE.
He is also actively involved in the civic and philanthropic circles.
Currently, he is the co-chairman of Responsible Gambling Forum under Singapore’s Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). He is also a chairman for Junior Achievement Singapore, a not-for-profit charity with 1000 volunteers that train approximately 20,000 students annually in life skills. He is founder and co-chairman of Worldwide Transformation, a charity that assists migrant workers with their legal, health and educational needs. As a Patron for SG Serve, he is involved in the not-for-profit movement to serve the community and inspire a movement of volunteers to give back to society. He acts as president of the Wrestling Federation of Singapore under Sport Singapore, a statutory board of the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY).
He has won numerous awards including the Global Leader Award, Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award, and the Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Social Contributions.
