Lauren Moore joined Johnson & Johnson in October, 2015, in the global role of Vice President, Corporate Citizenship, which was renamed Global Community Impact in 2016. Lauren is responsible for driving strategy development and implementation of the company’s Social Impact work, Corporate Citizenship, and Strategic Philanthropy. With Johnson & Johnson’s strong focus on relentlessly driving better health for all, the Global Community Impact team focuses on supporting and championing people on the front lines, at the heart of delivering care. Lauren also oversees the Johnson & Johnson Foundation, the Johnson & Johnson Patient Assistance Foundation and the Johnson & Johnson Corporate Citizenship Trust in the United Kingdom.
Lauren comes to Johnson & Johnson with a very strong track record of leading social responsibility strategies that yield positive business, social and environmental impact. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Lauren led the development and implementation of eBay Inc.’s first Social Innovation strategy focused on creating economic opportunity, powering charitable giving and enabling greener commerce.
Prior to joining eBay Inc., Lauren served eight years as Director of Giving for Starbucks Coffee Company and Executive Director of Starbucks Foundation, with responsibility for Starbucks philanthropic and community initiatives worldwide. She helped build the first Corporate Social Responsibility team at Starbucks and was part of the leadership team that produced the first Starbucks Corporate Social Responsibility Report, including public goals, in 2001. Prior to her work at Starbucks, Lauren held leadership roles in several nonprofit organizations.
Lauren has served on a number of nonprofit boards of directors, community commissions and advisory panels. Currently, Lauren is the President of the Johnson & Johnson Patient Assistance Foundation, and the Vice President of the Johnson & Johnson Foundation, as well as a member of Aspen Institute’s Business & Society Leaders Forum, and Cornerstone Capital’s Global Advisory Council.
