Laura is a business development professional with a proven commitment to humanitarian affairs.
She had worked in refugee protection with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees before joining an international media agency where she coordinated on location projects in Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea and Hong Kong. She then rejoined the non-profit sector by taking on a business development role at the Hong Kong Refugee Advice Centre. From there, she joined the international humanitarian aid organisation Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) to oversee the organisation' regional philanthropy program. During her employment with MSF, Laura also served as Humanitarian Affairs Officer with the MSF mission in Papua New Guinea. After 6 years with MSF, Laura was recruited to work in a senior role within the Philanthropy Advisory of Credit Suisse in Singapore.
Educated in the UK, Laura holds an MA. degree in Chinese studies as well as an LL.M in International Human Rights Law.
