Deval Sanghavi founded Dasra with his wife Neera Nundy to accelerate social change by driving collaborative action through powerful partnerships and a trust-based network of stakeholders. He leads the strategic philanthropic efforts at Dasra, facilitates stakeholder networks for collective giving, and provides philanthropists with intelligent investment strategies. These strategies have led to directing over USD $80 million into the Indian social sector.
Deval has been working towards building a thriving ecosystem through the Dasra Giving Circles that brings together philanthropists enabling them to collaborate through an integrated process. The giving circle engages 100+ donors to provide institutional funding & managerial support to NGOs creating a multiplier effect & collaborating learning leading to 30x scale.
Through their experience Dasra then launched the 10 to 19 Collaborative which aims at impacting 5 million adolescents by directing USD $50 million with the focus on comprehensive programming, data and learning, collective advocacy and government buy in towards an approach to address policy level change for adolescent in India.
Dasra also leads a USD $8 million (raised through local donors) Democracy and Governance Collaborative supporting NGOs that strengthen local government, empower citizens and advance access to justice
