Ash Sharma has 15 years of experience working at and advising multi-nationals and banks in Asia, Europe and North and Latin America in positions of sustainability, corporate responsibility, global business development, finance, digital communications, and tech for social impact.
He is the Managing Director at Amala Paradigm LLC, an advisory firm for Ultra-HNWIs and Executives at private and public corporations, foundations, start-ups, non-profits, and social enterprises. Ash creates strategic partnerships and advises on ESG, impact investments, philanthropy and the Arts. Previously, he worked at Shinsei Bank in Tokyo where he was part of small, high-impact teams that integrated microfinance and social enterprises into the Bank’s business lines, workplace practices, and community investments in twelve countries; succeeded gaining inclusion into the Dow Jones Sustainability Index Asia-Pacific; and managed USD4 billion in diverse, global capital market issuances to completely reset the Bank’s corporate finance strategy.
Ash is a Monbukagakusho scholar and holds a MBA from the International University of Japan and a B.A. Honors in European Studies in Arts, Culture and Languages from Trinity College at the University of Toronto. He speaks six languages, including Hindi, and has worked in four countries. Ash works with his family on access to healthcare and empowering women, senior citizens and youth in developed and emerging markets.
