In Asia Pacific, Alison Eskesen has created a robust portfolio of programs that empower women entrepreneurs and further financial inclusion. Her keen eye for strategic partnerships has enabled her to build innovative partnerships among the Center, regional business teams and programmatic partners.
Alison has worked for nearly 20 years at the intersection of development and finance. Across more than 30 countries, she has built a track record of measurable results by cultivating strategic partnerships among governments, private banks, foundations and impact investors. Most recently, Alison led programs and research at Grow Asia, an agri-business and government partnership catalyzed by the World Economic Forum and ASEAN Secretariat.
Alison is an Advisory Board member for the Aspen Development Network Enterprises (ANDE) Southeast Asia chapter and the Commonwealth Bank WISE program. Alison holds a MA from Columbia University and a BA from Colgate University. She was also a Fulbright Scholar in Paraguay.
